Usage Limits Guide
Perplexity doesn't publish numbers for Pro. Its plan table lists Pro Search and file uploads as "weekly limits (average use)" and Research, browser-agent and file-and-app creation queries as "monthly limits (average use)". Max gets "advanced use" limits. Best mode, the default, has no quota. The only published figures are Free (3 Pro Searches a day, 1 Research query a month) and Enterprise Pro (400 Pro Searches a week, 50 Research queries a month), which is the best available guide to a Pro-level ceiling.

Only Best mode, the default, is quota-free. Pro Search and uploads have weekly limits, and Research, file-and-app creation and the Comet browser agent have monthly limits. Perplexity doesn't publish the counts.
Perplexity describes it as "monthly limits (average use)" without a count. Free gets 1 a month and Enterprise Pro gets 50 a month, the nearest published reference.
For $200/month (or $2,000/year on the web), Max moves every meter to "advanced use" limits, gives the highest access to advanced models and file-and-app creation, adds priority support and early access, and includes Brain for Perplexity Computer during its preview.
Different meters. ChatGPT Plus has unlimited text chat but a monthly Deep Research allowance. Perplexity Pro has unlimited Best-mode search but weekly Pro Search and monthly Research limits. Neither publishes counts for its $20 tier.
